Ronald W. Cantwell

Mr. Cantwell has over 35 years of experience as an executive serving the energy and public accounting industries, and is a founding member of the firm. He provides strategic guidance and assists in originating, structuring and managing investment opportunities.  Mr. Cantwell has served as a Senior Advisor to Olympus Power with respect to contractual issues in power plants located in New York State; President of Catalyst Group, Inc., an independent power producer affiliated with Brascan (now Brookfield); and General Partner of Trilon-Dominion Partners, a $100 million venture fund formed with Dominion Resources.  Previously, Mr. Cantwell spent 19 years in public accounting, primarily with Ernst & Young where he was head of the mergers and acquisitions tax practice in Dallas.  Mr. Cantwell is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a BA degree in Accounting from University of Wisconsin.

 

Rudolf J. Hoefling

Mr. Hoefling has over 35 years of experience as an executive and technical advisor in the energy industry.  He provides strategic management, technical and operating guidance to the firm.  Previously, Mr. Hoefling served as Global Technical Advisor for WestLB’s energy group; President of Siemens Power Ventures for North America and Europe; and President, CEO and Board Member of Consolidated Power, an independent power developer funded by Prudential Power.   Mr. Hoefling started his career as an engineer with Siemens Automation and Westinghouse Electric.   He holds an MBA degree from Widener University and a Mechanical Engineering degree from the Technical University of Munich.
